This is the day that You have made, O Lord!  You give us to be glad and to rejoice in it! Thank You for the great joy that You have given and for having us to go to Services this day.  I was meditating how this is joy upon joy!  It is the First Day of the Week, and it is also my spiritual birthday!  An amazing thing had happened this morning when I was up, feeding Deborah.  I remembered that it was my Spiritual Birthday, and I knew that I turned 15 years old, but I could not remember how old I was physically!  I really had to think about it, and I never could come up with the right answer, so later on I asked my husband!  And this is one of the things that the Lord was talking about today, concerning baptism and remembering the day we were born.  The Lord said, through Xmeah, that when we were physically born, we have to rely on what others tell us as to what our birthday really is.  We had no awareness of that day, but we depend on others to tell us when it happened.  But with our Spiritual birth, we are aware of what is happening, and what day it is!  It is supposed to be the most important day of our lives!  This is the day that we were married to the Lord!  The Lord said, how is it that people can remember every other day of when things happened in their lives, like the first time they had sex, and other things, but they cannot remember the most important day of their life, which is the day that they received life!  I do thank You, Lord that You have given me a true Man of God, in Xmeah, who was there to tell me what to do and gave me the steps to take that led up to my baptism!  So now I know that my baptism was acceptable to God, because I do remember that day.  I remember what led up to it, I remember when it happened and even the events that took place afterwards!  And every year when this day comes around, I speak about it.  It is the same as when the Children of Israel were taken out of Egypt and were saved from the hand of Pharaoh!  They still speak about that day, to this day!  Every year, they talk about what had happened and how God delivered them!  They call it "Passover!"  Even America has a day that is talked about and celebrated every year!  America has the 4th of July that they celebrate as its Independence Day!  These were some of the things that were being spoken about today, in Services!

I do thank You, Lord for bringing things to my remembrance.  You did say that we are to come more ready to hear than to speak, and those who do not do a lot of speaking in the Assembly have a lot to say when they get out of the Assembly to others.  Our words are to be few when we are in the presence of the Lord!  We are to be more ready to hear, than to speak.  And when we are geared towards hearing, the Lord will speak to us, through the Man of God, and then we will have something we can tell people when we meet them on the streets!

I do thank You, O Lord for speaking to us about how we are to remember our baptism date, and speak about this day.  You also spoke about we better make sure that it was acceptable to You, because if it was not an important thing to us, when we did it, then it was not important to You, either!  There are those who do not remember the date that they were baptized, and they are searching Church Records to find out these dates.  These people are not condemned, because no one told them that they were supposed to remember that day.  But those of us, who have been around the Man of God, Xmeah, we were told this, and we are to keep it!  How important is this day to you, is the question.

I know that at one time I did go back and examine my baptism to make sure that what I had done was acceptable to God, and I found out that it was, because my testimony was a lot like that which happened to Xmeah!

I am very grateful to have been allowed to live this long!  It is good to see another year!  And this year it is great, because this is the first year that Deborah Esther has been with me.  When I got baptized 15 years ago, Michael was with me, and he was just a baby.  He saw me get baptized, but I know he does not remember it.  But every year I speak about it, and now with Deborah Esther being here, she hears me speaking about it, and will come to understand what this day is all about!

Xmeah is to me, as Moses was to the children of Israel.  He is the one who spoke with me and strengthened me and he is the one, who led me out of bondage!  And even now, that I have been baptized, I am still not weaned from him, and I still listen to the Word of the Lord, from his mouth!  Let he who strengthened me, speak with me!  And he is Xmeah ShaEla'ReEl, the Messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I was asked when I was baptized why did I want to get baptized.  The preacher also asked me did I believe that Jesus was the Son of God and that He died for our sins.  He also asked me did I believe that He was resurrected from the dead.  I do believe all of this and I told the preacher, who baptized me that I did, and I was baptized into the Kingdom.  I still remember the two young boys who walked in, and stood there watching as I was about to be baptized.  I also saw our three children sitting there with a woman who was taking care of them for me, while I was with the preacher about to be baptized.  It was not a big show, and it was not done in the presence of a lot of people.  This was to the Lord, and it was not so that I could get a lot of glory and pats on the back!  Fear is what got me to get baptized, and love is what kept me going in the Way of the Lord!  Just as You said, O Lord, fear does not last always!  And if we do not get the love for the Lord, then we will end up going right back into those things that we were doing before!  It is like a pig returning to his slop, after he has been cleaned!

The song You gave me, just after my baptism, said, "Don't turn around!" and I will not, so help me God!
