6^th Day of the Week, which is called Friday!

Blessed is the remembrance of Your Word, O Lord!  You have said that it is better to not have made a vow, than to vow a vow and not keep it!  Amen!

You brought to my remembrance something that I said to You that I would like to do, if You blessed me with what I asked of You!  Thank You for keeping it in my remembrance as to what this was for!  It was like a time when I had made a vow and said that if I find a certain TV, that I would give it to the Man of God.  Some time later, I did find that exact same TV in a dumpster, and it worked perfectly!  But I did not take it to the preacher, like I said I would!  This blessing was now a curse to me, because I did not keep my vow that I made to the Lord! 

If you make a vow to a Man of God, it is just as if You made it to the Lord, because preachers stand in the place of the Lord Jesus Christ, in these days.  I remember when the Lord said for us to do unto them (the preachers) what we would to Him, if He were still here.  He said we will have them with us always!  So if we want to give a gift to the Lord, we can give it to a True Man of God, and it will be just as if we gave it to the Lord, Himself!  Amen!

I had to be reminded of my vow, and also be warned about the impending curse that was upon me for not keeping it!  When I was told about how I sinned, I took the TV to the Man of God, and he gave it to me to keep.  He said all I had to do was do my part to fulfill my vow to the Lord!  So I ended up getting the TV anyway, but the point of the matter was to keep the vow that I made to the Lord!

This is what I was thanking the Lord for today, that He caused me to remember another vow that I had made!  It is very easy to get excited when something is received, but it is also easy to forget what it was intended for.  But in great excitement is when we are supposed to be most watchful!  The Holy Ghost brought to my remembrance what I vowed to do, so that I would not go down the same road that I had went before, in not keeping my promise.  Amen!
