I was given to remember a man, that Xmeah spoke about, that he would give
him money when he asked for it, but he would also pray for the man! I was shown in a dream that a certain man
that comes by all the time begging for money was now doing better! He seemed to act more normal and was not
shaking all of the time. I was surprised
to see him looking so alert! He reminded
me of a child, even though he is a physically grown man! He was much cleaner than he is now, and he would come
to the house and eat with us. I do not
know what this dream was showing me! My
Lord, I do ask that You would explain this to me! What was this, that You
were showing me?
I do hope for his deliverance! I
would like to see this dream come to pass.
There are things that I think about, but I do not know if I should
write. One reason is I do not want to
say something that should be kept secret and the other is I do not want to
gossip and talk about people. Amen.
A time of leanness and a time of plenty!
We just came out of a time of leanness and I do thank You, O Lord for
having me to see how did I feel about this? Even though there were days that were very
lean…we never lacked anything! What
concerns me, though is being able to give my tithes,
and not having anything to give, or not being able to pay my bills. I do not like not having the money to pay
bills.
Thank You for having me to continue to sleep without the air conditioner
on! I was happy to see that our sons did
the same thing last night! I was telling
one of them how Felicia had not been sleeping with the air conditioner on, for
a long time now. I was given to do it,
four days ago, and last night, when I got up, I saw that they had turned theirs
off, too! I know that this is good for
our bodies, and it will really help out, when the new light bill comes! Amen!
But also last night I dreamed that we went to Services, and there was a
new person there. He was a black man,
about my age and my husband’s age. He
sat at one table, with Xmeah and we sat at another. Xmeah lived in a different house, than in the
one he lives in now. But he still had a
large front room, for the Services to be held in.
The man looked at me and motioned to me, asking if I wanted a
cigarette. I turned away, not realizing
that he was trying to get my attention and ask me if I wanted one. So he lit his up, and I saw from the corner
of my eye that it was a box of Red Pall Malls.
Xmeah and Cherry also got a cigarette from their box of cigarettes. We sat and talked and even ate a little bit
of food. Then the Lord spoke through
Xmeah and said that people do not understand what true Worship Service is. They get so programmed with what “Church” is,
that they do not know what to expect when they come to Services at the
preacher’s house!
We had a very good time and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Then something was said, and Cherry stood
up. I thought she was going to testify,
but she got on her knees and started to pray.
So when she did this, we all got down on our knees, even Xmeah got down
to pray. I did not know what to pray, so
I asked the Lord for what to pray.
But before we had gotten down to pray I told the man that I was very glad
to see him there and I hoped he would come back!
I know that others would look at how we have Worship Services, and judge
us, as what we are doing is wrong, because they have not been taught
Truth! I know how it was with me, after
I first got baptized and came to Sunday Services at Xmeah’s house. I had my own ideas as to what Services were
supposed to be like, because I had gone to a White Church of Christ for all of
my life! I had never known any other
way, other than once I went to a Black Church Congregation, and that placed
scared the mess out of me, because I was not used to people shouting and dancing
in Services! When the
people started screaming out “Jesus!
Jesus!” I got scared and left,
thinking the Lord was coming!
But in the dream, the man felt comfortable with us. I knew he was looking around, because things
were not how he has seen things go one in other places, but he was comfortable!
I just read this: The
Word of the Lord that came to me, on 12-14-2004, which was on a Tuesday, the 3rd
day of the week, saying, It is written in Haggai 2:9, saying, “The glory of this
latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and
in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” The house is Spiritual! The house is the Church of God, the people of
God! The early Church, in the days of the
Apostles, is the former house; and, the Church in these days is the
latter! There came a time in between the
early Church and the latter Church that no one was found walking in all of the
ways of the Lord, as you see by the separation into denominations in these
days. Those who will make up this latter
day Church will come together, and a more powerful display of Holiness and
togetherness will be shown by those of the latter day Church, than that which
was displayed in the early Church. Amen!

Thank You for Your Word!
Wow! There was more! Just because a man is poor in material possessions,
that does not mean he is not saved. Among
men, according to material possessions, the Lord Jesus Christ was the
poorest! Yet, He is blessed above
all. Let the poor become comfortable and
content, so that the rich will not be helped to stay lifted up. Let the poor be delivered from the beggar’s
spirit. Let the rich be of a willing
mind to distribute to the poor, while not looking down on the poor: but, see
yourselves as equals in the Kingdom of God.
Let the rich be thankful to God that He has made them to be in a
condition, whereby they can be a help to others. And, let them do it themselves, without
distributing to others to distribute for them.
Let them rejoice in knowing that they can also know those who have
needs; and, can be like their Father, which is in Heaven, Who knows all of those
who are His. Let not the rich think himself to be above a man because he was able to distribute
to the poor. Let him count himself as
being blessed, because he did not sound a trumpet before him; because he paid
attention to the instructions for giving, which the Lord commanded. Let him count himself as being blessed
because of his obedience and respect for what the Lord Jesus Christ said. Let him count himself as blessed because of
his charity; and, that the Lord used him to give to the needs of those of His
kingdom, which you are a part of, when you have shown obedience and respect for
the Lord. Let no other man’s hands
distribute what God has put into your hands!
You shall be the hands of the Lord that extends to the poor. Who will do this? You said, “I will!” You don’t look for another to do what is in
your power to do. You will speak highly
about the Lord your Savior, when you do alms for the poor. They will know whom you give glory to,
because you speak of Him, and Him only. You let them know that you are just a vessel
of His good mercy! Now you count
yourself as a minister of good will, because the Lord only uses His people to
do things that will bring glory to Himself. The wicked cannot and will not glorify
God. Did not the poor see your true
caring? Did he not feel your true love
and concern for him.
Did you not smile with true honesty?
Were you not glad that the Lord used you to do this? Is not the Lord a Deliverer; and, did He not
use you to deliver someone from a condition?
You are an instrument of His good mercy!
You can say, “I was given ability to see a brother or a sister in need;
and, my bowels of compassion was opened up by the Lord, and I was used to
satisfy that need. It is good that I am
given to know even as He knows!” There
can be no condemnation to your heart for righteous acts, when the wicked come
to call you a fool; and, suggests that you refrain from doing this; and, let
those who know how to distribute, do the distributing. Only your Heavenly Father knows how to
distribute properly; and, His first consideration is always to the household of
faith. He truly does know all of those
who are His. Many are pretenders, and
are very skillful at pretending, causing people to believe they are something
that they are not: but, the Lord knows all of those who are His. There are those who make their living on
pretending to be poor, while going about to deceive unsuspecting people. Now will the help of God rise up for those of
His, to help them from casting their pearls before swine. Have you considered what it means, when the
Lord said, “Neither cast you your pearls before swine;
because they will turn again and rend you?” This speaks about giving to charity! You are not to give to charity organizations;
because they come back time and time again looking for more. Neither do they help people to come out of
the conditions that they are in. I
know! I have been there! I know about the one night stays, which does
not give a person time to look for what he needs to come off the highway. I know about their inability to teach people
how to trust in God! I know how they
talk down on people. For years the Lord
had me in a homeless condition, whereby I traveled around this country
hitchhiking. I speak from experience, and
not from hear-say. The closest thing to
the way of the Lord was a place in West Palm Beach, Florida, called the Lord’s
Place. This man had a place where
families could stay, providing them with food, clothing, and shelter, while the
husband searched for a job. When the man
found work: he would give the major portion of his check to the man that ran
the place, so he could put it in a bank account, so that when the man had saved
up enough, he could get a place for his family.
While they stayed at the Lord’s Place, they would not need much money
because all things were being provided for them. Isn’t that sort of like the “Good
Samaritan?” This was the only place that
I had seen that was setup to help families, whereby the family stayed together;
not like some places, which requires the husband to live in another place away
from his wife and children. Let it be so as it is written in 2nd
Corinthians 8:15, saying, “As it is written, He that had gathered much had
nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.” And so, when one member of the Body suffers;
we all suffer together! When one member
is made to rejoice; we all rejoice together.
As we share our material things, we also share our Spiritual wealth, to
bring others up out of their Spiritual poverty!
I have also seen where people have gotten some money, and have given it
to someone, saying, that the Lord told them to give this amount to them. But, where they gave it, I knew that the
person was deceived, because the Lord would not tell His people to support
something that He does not approve of. I
was sitting in that congregation, when this female, stood up to tell all, that
the Lord had told her to give $1200 to help for the upkeep of a new building
that they had built. First of all, if
the Lord would have told her to do that; He would have also told her to let it
be a secret between Him and her. Has He
not commanded us not to blow a trumpet to announce what we have done? He will not lead us into temptations of
seeking praise and glory for ourselves.
He leads us in the paths of Righteousness; and, that is according to
what He has commanded to be done. Amen!
