Thank You for the meditations that You give to us, O Lord!  You cause us to think upon right things and to learn to commune with the Spirit.  This morning You gave to me another meditation on Mary, the mother of the Lord Jesus. 

Here was a woman who had never been with a man, before, but was pregnant, and gave birth without help!  She gave birth in a manger, and did not have a midwife or anyone with her.  I considered how animals, even dogs give birth all by themselves, and do not need someone there to help them deliver their young!  It is just given to them to know what to do at that time! 

And are we not greater than dogs?  I considered in giving birth what was to be done after the baby comes out.  It is funny, because even though I have had three other children before, this is different, and I do not even remember too much of what was going on after the baby came out.  With the first one I had a c-section, and the other two I had a midwife who took care of everything once I delivered the baby.  I do not remember anything about when the cord is to be cut, or how it is to be cut, and all that.  But that is when it came to me about who was with Mary to tell her what to do?  But she did it! She gave birth unassisted, but I do acknowledge that she was not spiritually alone! 

I love the meditations that You give, O Lord.  You have caused me to look at the women of old and to look into the Bible for examples of women who were pregnant and when they gave birth.  Amen.

"Teach me Thy Ways O, Lord!"  This is the prayer that You gave me to pray, by the mouth of Xmeah! 

Purge me, O God of all the things that I have learned about being pregnant, and teach me Your Ways, O Lord!  Who knows more about being pregnant than You?  You are the One Who created our bodies for this function, so You can teach me what to do! 

I had a fear before about not knowing what to do when the baby is born.  What are the steps to take?  When do you cut the cord, and where do you cut it?  How do you get the baby to breathe after he is born?  How do I clean him?  All of these stupid questions and fears running through my mind, like a whirlwind!  But all the noise stopped when the Lord gave me the prayer to pray, through the mouth of the Man of God!  Then I was saying, "Lord, that was so easy!  Teach me Your Ways!" 

When did I ever read a book to do any of the things that the Lord gave me to do?  The Lord told us a long time ago, through Xmeah, that first the Lord will give us to work on dead things, and then He will give us to work on living things!  He taught me how to work on vacuum cleaners, copy machines, my own truck, and now computers.  And all of these years, I never went to school, or any classes, and never read any books on how to do any of these things.  So why would I need to be taught by man on how to give birth?

The Lord taught me all of the other things and how to deal with dead things, and now He can teach me how to deal with a living thing!  Amen!

The meditations and the comfort You give to the hearts, O Lord is mighty!  Amen!

My Lord, what is the meaning to this dream that You gave me? I do not know what had happened, but in the dream it showed that the Preacher's wife had done something really bad, and the Preacher took off his belt and started to whip her like she was a child!  I was surprised when I saw this, but I know that what she had done was real bad!  I just do not know what it was that was done!

I considered how Xmeah taught us not to fear him, because he cannot put his hands on us, but to fear God, because He will put His Hands on us if we disobey the Lord!  And I also considered how the wife is the bride of Christ.  But how is the Church behaving itself before people.  What I saw in the dream was a bad example of how a wife was supposed to behave. 

The older women are supposed to be examples to the younger women.  And this is one of the things that the Lord was saying, when He had Xmeah to come over.  I was telling him about my meditations of Mary, and how no one taught her what to do, and she was a virgin, giving birth to her first Child!  But the Lord was saying, through Xmeah, that in those days women were not infected with all this mess like they are in these days!  Back then, the young women learned from their mothers everything that they would need to know as to what their duties were when they became wives and mothers.  It was not like how it is in these days, that everyone has their own little world, where the mother does her thing and the daughters do their thing!  They learned the role and the duties of a woman and when they became wives and mothers, they were better equipped to give birth, not like women in these days who have become weak!

I was talking to a woman from Sudan, who used to be a doctor in her country and she used to deliver babies.  She said that when she came to the States, how here the women think that giving birth is a medical thing, and the hospitals capitalize on this and make so much money off of a thing that is supposed to be very natural!  There are so many laws now, and she said that she was not going to get involved in all of this mess, so she has her own business where she is a nurse and takes care of the elderly. 

I had considered that, too, about how they make giving birth a medical thing, and not a thing that is done naturally and has been done for thousands of years, without medical intervention.  As a matter of fact, most midwives believe that because of medical intervention, that is what leads most women into having to have cesareans!  But if the woman would be left alone to labor on her own, the way God intended, the baby comes out unassisted and not traumatized by the birth! 

You have given me so much comfort, now, O Lord, and I do thank You for the peace and the comfort that You have given to my mind now.  I do thank You for Xmeah, who You gave to us, to tell us the things that You say!  I was having so much evil in my head, that I could not even hear straight!  I laughed when I thought about Xmeah would say, "They scared the Jesus out of you!"  and that is how I felt!  I felt so scared that I could not even hear those few simple words that put all that crap to silence!  "Teach me Your Ways!"  Amen!
